Blaxploitation
The goal was to create a definitive collector's edition that honored the gritty, vibrant energy of 1970s action cinema while meeting the premium standards of today’s 4K UHD market. I developed a complete visual identity system that unifies 12 iconic films across two 12-disc box sets, bridging the gap between vintage nostalgia and modern luxury packaging.

Design & Execution
- Custom Illustration:
I created original, character-driven artwork celebrating genre legends like Pam Grier, Fred Williamson, Jim Brown, and Isaac Hayes. The style pays homage to the hand-painted movie posters of the era, updated with a cohesive color palette (Vol 1: Magentas/Reds, Vol 2: Greens/Blues). - Premium Packaging Architecture:
Designed the complete physical experience for the dual-format release (4K UHD + Blu-ray), ensuring the box sets, individual case covers, and disc art functioned as a unified gallery. - Curated Collections:
- Volume 1: Coffy, Foxy Brown, Black Caesar, Across 110th Street, Sheba Baby, Truck Turner.
- Volume 2: Friday Foster, Cotton Comes to Harlem, Bucktown, Slaughter, Slaughter's Big Rip-Off, and more.
